Just a quick update. Anyone who has had a swirl from me directly over the years will be getting a chance to win a swirl guitar from me before I finish, here it is... Looking rather plain at the moment. Not sure what color it will be yet. It's a AANJ Alder Jem style body with the RB style handle, which was never made? So please get in touch if you were one of my customers as I won't be coming looking for you guys.
I will be running a lottery again, you will all get one entry for every swirl you had from me.
Anyone kind enough over the past years to send me a testimonial with a pic will get 2 goes. Anyone buying one of the last swirls will also get 2 guesses in the draw. Please get in touch and I will add your name and country below.
Entering will mean you will need to cover the postage cost involved the guitar will also need to be clear coated,
it will be sent out barrier coated only.

I CAN Arrange to have the guitar bodies cleared for you if you need this is an additinal cost plus postage to Wales.
Until you have paid me for the guitar, even if you say you want it, if you have not paid for the guitar then I am sad to say it is available to be purchased by someone else. I have had to enforce this priciple as I have sold lots of guitars that have never been paid for.

29. DEC. 2011 Well I hope some of you guys are having a nice holiday? A few days back I managed to get some clear onto the swirls I did in late Oct early Nov? so the new ones will be going up for sale soon and they will be released one at a time, maybe one a week? Something like that, I will try and get a quick video of each one before they all come home, then the video will go up on here and it will be on the for sale page first come first serve, no exceptions I will try and fire them up at a pre determined time.
I think that folks will agree that this latest batch is amongst the best I have ever done. Ranging from neat to circa 1987 PAW style by ATD (very messy/organic heavy with pink and yellow) and then there are a few that have been made to look like the last Ibanez UVRE's so very neat dominant with pink and green, No Lizards even though they are now my favorite, (I blame BB Sam for this)
Sam's DNA Lizard seven.
I used to love neat swirls but nice as they are they get boring real quick to me know, the messier the swirl the better as long as it doesn't run! that's the tricky bit.
I still have some more to do but they will have to wait as it's just too cold now and Jan/Feb in the UK are statistically the coldest months so that doesn't bode well.
Cheers for looking, the first new swirl guitar will not be up for sale till a few days/week into the new year so I wish you all a Happy New Year in advance

Merry Christmas to all. I have been trying to get everything finished up
I need to spray clear coat so it got very cold last week so I sanded lots of stuff then it got warm when I had dust everywhere, so I have cleaned up and hope that when I go back in a few days it might still be warm then I can spray some clear and get some new guitars home take some pics and fire some up for sale, Some are destined for other places already. After that get back to sanding and get everything ready for the
final swirls.
Count the lions claw lines above? Lizard Galaxy PAW swirled 8 for Andy from the US of A.

The Irony is if I had this many requests during the past few years I would not be shutting but that ship has sailed now sadly.
I have almost completed the final guitars, I have some left to do and a few on route that I comitted to do months/ weeks back.
Soon as I can these guitars will be added to the for sale section and it will be first come first serve, all the new one's will be barrier coated ONLY and will need to be final clear coated. I WILL NOT CLEAR and POLISH ANY OF THEM sorry. I can however arrange for them to be sent to Wales for Clear coating performed Professionally by Rob Williams of Rob Williams Guitars.

Hi all, contrary to what you may have read on some forums I am not pulling an Ozzy farwell tour, I am closing down soon.
Here are some pics of what I still need to finish, I will add pics as I take them.
2 8 strings. One original RG2228 Ibanez with added handle the second that has been dubbed the "multiverse" with an added handle and routered for a 8 string floyd rose that has been custom made for this guitar.

01. NOV. 2011 CLOSING DOWN FOR GOOD Hi all. I will be finishing off all outstanding work I have on the books and emailing a few folks who have ordered or are waiting on projects from me rest assured these will all be completed in the coming weeks.
I would like to thanks all the GREAT customers I have had over the years.
OOT Swirled will go off line in the next few months NEVER to return.
If you were thinking of having a swirled guitar in the style of the originals painted by Darren of About Time Designs then here is the only place you can get one at present and very soon they will all be gone for good also.
I'd like to think I will have left some sweet swirls out there, so remember to please look after them. Keep them out of the sun when possible especially the neon one's.

27. OCT. 2011 (thu) Two guitars and one neck went out today, two more bodies to go, then there should be a few more ready to go out with any luck in the next few weeks. Daniel, Andy M, Carlo, and the rest of you guys, I'm on a mission.
No pics today, temp lower, rained most of the day. Didn't get much done with all the running around.

Felt rough today so didn't go in till after lunch, not good as I have loads still to do.

New Area51body turned up fixed bridge HSH seven 2 piece alder. Don't have time to paint it mind you. And that tin is long empty.
That tape has been on that fretboard for a LONG time I might have to flame thrower it off.
The brigtest thing down the unit today was a double rainbow, it's getting colder and damper.

Felt great this morning got to around 6 and I was ready for bed? Okay what did I get up to today, almost had a heart attack at the new price of my primer.
Went to the post office for Tim.
No mulitverse yet....

The run to work, another really great day here again weather wise, crazy.
One piece sapele mahognay seven string from Area51customs, a real shame to paint, oh well lol.

you. There won't be anything new this year now, well not swirl wise anyway.

Well, this page was starting to lag on load up so were onto a new page for a new week. What did I do today?
Spent money on poison to atomize into the air in the room that I am standing in

Bough a different type of poison to propel via air into said close quarters environment- Check
Called Bupa for rates.
Visited CNC without camera.
Made lots of Tea "Yorkshire"
on return.
Had a visitor: "Red Mist" AKA "Big Red" He dropped off a present.
Got latest iphone 5 in post from China, I think I have been shafted?
